The Catania Book Festival was created with the aim of promoting culture as a common good and a driver of local development, as well as making reading and knowledge accessible to everyone, creating a meeting place for authors, the public, and new generations of readers.

Founded in 2020, the Catania Book Festival is a unique space for cross-contamination: among disciplines, languages, and new forms of expression, it has been able to connect the publishing world with that of innovation, art, education, and active citizenship
